As to the names Raelynn and James added, come on they don’t want people to slaughter the kids name. There is an adorable little boy here in Iowa by the name of Riley and I actually think its a really cute name for a little boy. Also approximately how much longer do you have till you will have the baby- I’m getting a bit ancy.I am also praying that its not a 10 pounder this tiny little lady in the ward i’m serving in just had a 10 pound 13 ouce little girl- poor mom and poor baby- I mean her older sister was even making fun of how fat she was. But good luck on finding a name- if you don’t you can always call it baby barker for a while- actually I am very opposed to that- don’t do it. Pick a name quickly. God Bless you.

Here in Hawaii there are many unique names. Kekoa, Kannon, Ponokaimi, and others that are just too long to remember. Kannon is cute though, but spelled “Cannon”. Aloha

I think that Dallin is a very good name to use. The other names I have are unique but they are cute names. Such as Kyson, Perry, Brittian, Zane,Russel, mason, daniel, joshua, or evey kyle. I will go over my ward list and find more names I like. Man some of these people in Iowa have strange names but we wont let them know.

Wow, look what I’ve been missing.

One thing to consider is “Googleability” – which can be viewed two different ways..

1) Page Rank – Have a unique name, get search results guaranteed to return any site your boy’s name is part of.

2) Privacy – Have a common name, security & privacy is guaranteed.

I don’t have any name suggestions. I don’t think you would want them. The week our daughter was born, we finally decided to look up its popularity – oops, Emily is number 1.

France and I were just talking about Dartagnan from IBM. Now there’s an unusual name! His buds could call him “D” when he’s in high school. ‘Course, you’d probably need a French-sounding middle name, too. Like Cartier.

I love the name Carter, but I’m not sure it’s a good match with Barker. Too much “er,” if you know what I mean.

@Linda – the baby is due Aug 2nd.

@Favorite Aunt – Aaron thinks that it is a good idea to wait and officially pick a name when we see him. I have heard stories of parents who have names picked out and then when they first see the baby decide on something different. So, most likely we won’t settle on one until he’s born. However, we now have a list of ideas to choose from.

@Kristy – Hey to you too! And I also really like Lane Aaron Barker. Brent is also a great name, but close to Aaron’s brother’s name, Brett.

Hey guys! I have had this problem before…I read through most of the responses to your request and I have seen a bunch of names that are really cute. I like Lane – it sounds like a movie star: Lane Barker! I do have one suggestion, it is one that isn’t heard much, however, it is a name I really like. How about Brent?
